This is exactly my (limited) experience so far with the PAS in a church context (in europe/germany) compared to conventional sound systems. For about 30 years I am trying to find the better/best PA system for usage in church buildings (most with large reverberation and high ceillings and very difficult accoustics) with 500 to 800 attendees.

Before I got the Bose PAS, I used 2x Mackie SRM450 which were very good in church context too, but the Bose PAS is ways better in this area, with it's wide even dispersion (horizontal AND over distance). Especially the very little difference in loudness over a distance from 6 to over 60 feet, with outstanding clarity, is something I never heared before in a church together with such few effort. - Many thanks to Bose!!!
