This topic makes me think back to when we bought 2 L1's, each with a single bass unit for our small church. When we changed over from a conventional sound system ( monitors on stage and mains out front) I hated it. It took some time to get used to hearing 'everything'.
Since then I have purchased my own L1 with 4 bass units that I use for my Vdrums when I play at the church. Our church has used and abused our systems using them for youth groups and Sunday service. Setting up and tearing down every sunday for the last couple of years with people who know how to use them and people who don't know how to use them. The L1's are still kicking, I think it was the best decision our little church could have made for a sound system.
