Ok here is part 2 of the ultimate test. I did the sound for our town annual memorial day ceremony. Last year I had jbl's & also I didn't get the power on til people started showing up. No sound checks at all! So needless to say & had a few issues with the sound. This time I had Bose on my side! I could have used just 1 L1 but I wanted to vindicate my self from the previous year. There were about 400 people there not including the high school band. Here is my report: First> It was very easy to set up compared to my set up last year. Second> The lack of sound drop off was staggering. As you walked away from the stage the volume seamed to stay the same all the way out to the highway which was at least 100 yards away from the stage. The sound was very even & extremely clear. Wow was all I could say. Third> I had quite a number of people going out of there way to say how wonderful the sound was. Forth> I played some patriotic music before & after the ceremony. Before when I was testing my levels I cranked up one of the songs (keep in mind I only had 1 B1 per-side) & it sounded like a rock concert! Fifth> There was a musical act in the program. A trio of females singing the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy song by the Andrew sisters. We play a music track off of a CD as they all huddled around a mic & sang. They also had a Bugle Boy. (see pic 4) It sounded fantastic, just like a professional recording! Thank You Bose! -- jdbassentertainment.com; May 28 10:01 am -- full thread hereThis message has been edited.
