All I can add is this - I heard a band (The Syndicators, who unfortunately just split up - they were good) in my area playing through their systems and became quite intrigued.

Amado, the Syndicators keyboard player, was very willing to share his experiences, good and bad, with me. THROUGH THIS FORUM, I found Jeff Chamberlain, who allowed my classic rock cover band to invade his church and try the systems ourselves - I was hooked.

I'm an average guitar player and a lousy singer cursed with the ability to remember all the lyrics (I don't sing with the band, but often do at rehearsals while waiting for the lead singer to show up!) and already recognize that this system will improve my performance in both areas.

As to what you read on other forums, all I can say is: this forum is part of the reason I now own my Bose system. Compare the 'tone' or 'attitude' or 'vibe', whatever you want to call it, of this forum to the others you read regularly. I'm confident that you will not find anything close to this one, in terms of support, advice, or willingness of the members to freely devote their time to share and help. You will see that Bose is not afraid to post negatives as well as praise, and the __-at-Bose team is far and away more responsive to member input than any forum I've ever been in.
