The Model II has received the prestigious Platinum Award for Design and Design from Guitar World Magazine.

The Bose L1 system was honored by two prestigious European publications last week at the Frankfurter Messe -- the largest trade show for music in the world.

The L1 won the top prize of “Tastenwelt” (magazine for keyboards and more) in the category of: Best PA-system/Boxen.

On Thursday we received a nomination by Mipa in the category of: Compact PA-systems (see website for further information: www1.mipa-award.de)

The L1 Model II has been awarded one of the prestigious 2008 International Design Excellence Awards.

The IDEA® (International Design Excellence Awards) program is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts. Entries are invited from designers, students and companies worldwide.

Winning entries will receive press coverage in BusinessWeek magazine and businessweek.com as well as in hundreds of newspapers and networks, including CNN, NBC, PBS, CNBC, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post and the general design press.

IDSA has been honoring design excellence via the IDEA Awards since 1980.

IDEA was formerly known as the Industrial Design Excellence Awards. The name changed in 2007 to emphasize the international reach and influence of the competition.

The L1 Classic (now produced as the L1 Model I) was awarded the Key Buy Award by Keyboard Magazine.

The Bose L1 was nominated for "Outstanding Technical Achievement in the Category of Sound Reinforcement and Loudspeaker Technology" for the 20th Annual Technical Excellence and Creativity Awards (TEC Awards) run by the Mix Magazine Foundation.
