I forgot to mention this in the last post. We also play with a 5 piece German band from the Detroit area by the name of Enzian. Right after we bought the Bose they were extremely curious as to our new found musical bliss. Anyway, we took them to an Oktoberfest that we play north of Detroit last fall. One of the fellows is from Germany and really has a heavy accent. He was, to say the very least, extremely skeptical about this. I just told them to plug the stuff into the board and then we'll go to the Bose. Not the right way to do it, but probably the only way at that time. Anyway, we cranked 'er up and he went walking around the large pole barn where this was held. When he came back, he was just shaking his head in disbelief. I asked him how it sounded. His reply (with heavy German accent) was "Dat ting ist UNBELEIFFABLE". He couldn't get to anyplace in the building where he couldn't hear it. I just laughed with that "told you so" kind of laugh. Very satisfying. To make a long story short, when Tom and I now play with the Germans, there are four PAS setups behind the band. Not only can we all hear much better, but we are becoming a better bunch of musicians as well. Thanks for the time.
