We are a Southern Gospel Quartet that uses sound tracks plus a keyboard-piano. I told the group going into this test that the claims that Bose is making almost sound like a hoax. We all wanted the system to work because of the convenient packaging but I, personally, felt a little embarrassed that I would believe the claims that Bose was making. We had invited some people in to get their opinion. We first put on a commercial CD. There was almost an immediate "wow" expression on everybody's face. They were looking at each other and shaking their heads in disbelief. It only got better. This church seats 275 but we had so much gain left that volume become a non-issue very quickly. We had all the bass we needed. In this church there is a long hall off the sanctuary. People were going to the end of hall to listen because it was just as loud down there as it was in the sanctuary. There was so much amazement from the people that one quy finally said: "this is spooky".I am a natural 2nd but I sing baritone in this group. When my part is low I have great difficulty hearing myself. Today was incredible. I kept asking if I was too loud but they said no.
