I...continue to be disappointed with the overall frequency response of the system. I hate to be negative, but I have been in sound reinforcement for a long time and after lengthy discussions with the techs on the Bose pro audio side of the aisle, I just can't sit still for statements like "we eq'd this thing just right" and "the system voicing sounds great in every room". There simply is no such thing and every audio engineer who has ever experienced a standing wave knows it. I played in a room last week with a very strong standing wave and if I hadn't been mixing into the PAS system with decent (read: parametric!!!) EQ, there would have been nothing to do but grin and bear it.
