I've had my L1 Model II system with the T1 ToneMatch Audio Engine for about a month now and am lovin' every second of it. I use all four channels of the T1. Channel 1 for my vocal mic. Channels 2-4 for my Keyboard (a Roland XP-60) which I split the outputs for Bass, Drums & keyboard. Now here's the great thing about the T1 Audio Engine. Of course for my vocal on channel one I choose the right ToneMatch preset mic to my taste. But here's the killer part. Even though the bass and drums parts are coming from my XP-60 Keyboard. I have chosen the ToneMatch "Fender 66 P-Bass" for my keyboard bass and it has made such a differance in how the bass sounds and how much easier it is to "EQ" it. Then for the drums I have chosen the ToneMatch "Kick w/Beta 52a" and that has taken what I thought was a good drum sound to a monster of a set, a day and night differance!!
Of course everybody is going to use the ToneMatch to their own taste, but good golly miss molly make darn sure you get in there and use those tools that Bose has provided you and you will be totally amazed at how big and bold you will sound. L. Kevin Rockwell PS.. I would like to thank my good friend Clark Woolstenhulme who has let me use his bose system when needed for the past couple of years. Clark is doing an intership at bose right now and loving it. -L. Kevin, August 03, 2007 Full Thread Here |
