Have a quick newbie question -

a. For the Tonematch, last week was trying to get the master out for the video guy and couldnt get 1/4" TS or TRS pin to work. Is there any other connector one uses?

Also, for redirecting the output to Aux, what would I need to do.

In the past, have used the master from my Mixer, but wanted to do that from the Tonematch, to see if that works...

I was able to look up the Wiki for Aux output.

http://toonz.ca/bose/wiki/index.php?title=Aux

But still would like to understand the type of adapter to use for Master out (1/4 TS or TRS or something else).

Thanks,

Desi DJ

Hi DesiDJ,

If you could not get any signal from the Master Out, there may be an issue with your T1 and you might need to call L1 Support¹.

Just checking - you mean this?

Also, here is a link to detailed notes about using the Aux Output.

The Master Output of the T1® is a balanced, mono, ¼ inch jack tip-ring-sleeve connection. You can also use an unbalance cable ( ¼ inch jack tip-sleeve) connection. You can run either to a line-level input on a mixer.

Does that help?

ST, Could the Aux out on the T1 be used as an aux send to a powered speaker's input to act as an audio monitor? I'm asking because sometimes my singers are behind the L1 due to room constraints. Being able to use a powered speaker as an audio monitor would be a big help in those situations.
Thanks,
BT

Hi ST. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I wasn't aware that you had answered my question. Yes. You reply did help. I wasn't able to apply your advice until today.....I just got a Bose T1 this morning.

I thought my l1 and B1's sounded great with my Mackie mixer, but brother....let me tell you, with the T1 my sound is phenomenal!!!! I can't wait to unleash this bad boy at my gig this friday. My singers are gonna go nuts!!!

Thanks again for all of your help! I let you know how it goes.
Best,
BT

Okay...so i used my T1 with my L1M1 and 2 B1's last night for the first time at my Friday night karaoke gig. The sound was unbelievable! All evening long my singers were loving the clarity and depth of there vocals and backing tracks. I also had a lot of singers there for the first time, and every one of them complimented me on the sound, and promised to come back next week with their friends!!!

All of the hard core karaoke singers said this was the best sounding system they have ever heard, which is quite something seeing as most of these folks are out at karaoke several nights a week.

I absolutely love the sound that the T1 has given my L1 and B1's. Definitely money and time well spent. Thanks to all the offered their advice and expertise....I couldn't be happier with my system!
Best,
BT

BT,
Glad it worked for you. I've got the same results. People love how they sound through the T1.

Thanks, Scott! I love how easy it is to mix everyone with the T1 as opposed to the mixers I've used in the past.

Completely agree about the comments on sound quality, I do Karaoke using a T1 too and I love it, so easy to set-up too for a small gig with just one L1/two B1s.

I was DJing at a wedding on Saturday and the couple has also hired a singer, who was using the usual Mackie powered speakers - her and her partner said how amazing the sound was from my system, which I was running in stereo.
