I have used a pair of Mackie SRS-1500 subs with mine a couple of times for a school dance and a fashion show.

I ran the output of the mixer to the input of the sub, the the high pass out to a 20 dB pad then the Bose L1s. I still used the B1s too, I had the crossover on the sub set to about 90hz, so only greater than 90Hz went to the L1s/B1s
