Here's my set up here in Newport News, VA at my Sunday Night Recovery video mixxx party. Soooooo where do ya think the L1 Compact is hidden????
After doing a little sound check with two compacts and a Energy ESW-M"6". Figured I could just go with the sub hidden under the table in a file folder crate (as many of you suggested) then use only ONE compact with it hidden behind the..... oh shooooot, almost gave the location away! lol

Well..how was the overall sound? How much headroom did you have left per the size of the room? You mentioned mixer...T1? It's a workout to carry 4, I can only imagine 8. Great pic!

I know all about eight & as always with the B1's the sound better if grouped all together and in thee center... although this would have messed up the look Jota was going for, I'm sure.

Have you considered sourcing some lighted dance floor panels to go with your set up JD? 12' by 24' should cover it. Smile

Somewhat embarrassed to post these because of the way the B1s are snugged up to and slightly forward the L1M2 radiators, the blocking and reflecting a goodly portion of the propagated sound waves, but when one gets slammed and jammed into a corner with the size and room barely enough for a pair of busing trays, ya gotta do what cha ya gotta do.

80 degrees. 80% humidity. 80 million skeeters.

I am still a Model 1 lover however sometimes the Model 2s fit better, as seen in this itty bitty area set-up. Each system has its unique strengths.

For mobile DJ work, having the I/O panel of the model 1's with four inputs without the need for a T1 is what makes it a better overall choice for me.

The two units on the deck are Bliss Light M-15s. The unit on the B1s is the Hypnotic RGB. All three are lasers.
