Mbm. I love the light setup. My favorite uplights are set on your setup. The mega panels by amdj. Do you like your manias? I'm not a fan of those, my partners got them. He's got a Martin wizard which is cool. The color schemes are pretty nice with that setup. Dynamite, your setups are sweet. I love the clean look. There r a bunch of you guys that have slick looks that means you cap, Lou d, Brian and etc. You guys always give me better ideas to make my setup look better. Thanks guys Smile.

Thanks!

I can't Imagine all those b1's, why would you need more bass? Think about it, only you want the thud, not your clients. Save your $$.

I have plenty of bass with 2 b1's for up to 250 ppl.

Wow those are expensive uplights.

The Martin Manias are ok, sometime wish I had paid more and got the 700s

My favorite lights on the setup are the Martin Acrobats. I also have a Wizard, but it is so heavy and bulky I have only used it a couple of times.

I know! Frown I like my setups that I have. Remember on the phone I told you that I was having issues with the B1s thats why I bought so many. My clients always say that your highs and mids are amazing but the thud effect is never there. I got the qsc HPR151 sub last night, I'm going to try it out with the L1. I wish bose came out with a mixer for us for crossfading! BOSE GET ON IT! LOL. I'll post more pics up asap.

I'm not selling any of mine any day soon. Make it a saved search on ebay. I picked up 4 there.

Martin is wack for not putting LED's into there awesome fixtures. White light is white light & it could be done. I am very disappointed in Martin. Of all the lighting companies out there you would thing they would have been on the leading edge on LED technology. All I can think of is the want to make their lights way better than everything out there when they do finally come out with their line of LED lights, plus they need to sell all the "regular lights" they still have in their ware house.

I agree with Jd to a limit. I usually use ADJ, Elation, or Chauvet. But, Martin has come out with with hot Intelligent lighting. Like Mac 250 Krypton or the Mac2000 profile 2s. I love those lights.

DjGaetano. I'm thinking of selling these facades. I didn't know people would want them until I posted this up on my facebook and 2 other sites besides our site. I am in consideration of making more of these and making a few bucks to get a l1 compact. lol.

I too wish Martin would design LED's into their great lights but the LED's may not heve the intensity necessary. I could be wrong on this.

Could you imagine a 3 pound LED Acrobat or, better yet, an 8 pound Wizard.

Even a 7 pound Acrobat & a 14 pound wizard would be great! I would once again use their products if they were LED. As for intensity I'm sure they could figure it out- it's Martin!

<<Looking for an >> acrobat? I'm desperetly trying to find another one. I love that light. I may be forced to buy a pair of the mania scx 800's but they are very pricy

Can you spot the BOSE? Wink

Whenever I'm set up to the left or right of a head table I always set up with an L1 on each end and hide the B1s underneath the ends of the tables like this:

My large set up, used mostly for school dance type events. There is a surprise under the table!

Eight B1's! They sound awesome all together like this, I'll be putting the B1's under my table from now on.

Hey JD,

What are covering your PS1s? No offense, but it looks like trash bags! LOL

I don't remember seeing this in any other pictures so I'm assuming that maybe it's to protect from kids spilling drinks nearby?

Also, have you considered a facade for your table? It would really "finish" your presentation...because I can see the back of that Denon, and the cabling coming out of that! But mostly it would just look nice.

Kudos for at least having a clean top, with wires hidden and tucked away!

Cheers!

They are vinyl covers I had made, that slip over the top & extend over the back of the mixer portion of the PS1s. They do a very good job of protecting them from spills, but are not the prettiest thing on earth.

Perhaps in the future I could find a more attractive remedy. Have any suggestions on where to get something more esthetically pleasing?

The spill protection is the important thing. Perhaps black vinyl would have looked a bit nicer. But apparently they do the job.
I am guessing you don't have any heat problems with them? Since I have a M II, I don't know where the M I vents are.

BTW, those 8 B1's have absolutely got to rock. Wow!! I can't even imagine the guy with 11 B1's (seems like a strange unbalanced number) feeling like he has a Bass issue.

Hi Joel,

Vent is in the handle cavity. You may not hear the fan because it triggers when there is load on the amp. I never hear it when the system is quiet. And I never hear it when the system is running loud because the sound is buried by the music.
