Hello this is DJ/GT again.
I have 2 bass modules and stacked them as suggested in the literature. I did however want to rotate the Bose logo. The literature says this can be rotated. I tried to do so and found it difficult so I called and spoke with an Engineer who told me I needed to pull the logo out first before rotating it. I think it would be a good idea to add an illustration to show this before someone breaks the logo off. Thank you for your time. DJ/GT |

It's easier than you think. Take a butter knife and carefully pry und the one side. Hold it out with your finger. Then do the same for the other side. Pull evenly and it will come out about 1/4 inch so you can turn it.

I'd be afraid of scratching it, even with a butter knife. Maybe it's my kung fu grip, but I've had good luck with carefully pinching the logo and pulling at these points, then rotating 90 degrees:

Chuck is correct that his "king fu grip" probably assists with listing the logo. The key is as Greg mentioned, you are not just lifting the edges of the "B" and the "E", but the idea is to lift the center about 1/4" as there is a square insert that fits into a hole to keep the logo stationary. The entire logo needs to be lifted to allow the logo to be rotated.
This had me a bit confused at first also. Cheers, Steve Z |
