WELL.... the tests are in. I put a Mackie SRM350 on the right 'in' of my Yamaha keyboard (S90es) and the left/mono in the BOSE L1 MODEL 2 with tonematch and 2 B1's. IM HAPPY to report it didnt make ANY appreciable difference in stereo. In fact.. the Mackie sounded muffled and sorry to say GUTLESS beside the L1. I had them 4' apart. With the 180 sweet spot you dont even miss the stereo thing. My friend who loaned me the SRM350 heard my system yesterday and his jaw dropped. He uses the mackie for vocal monitor in his band. I think he's going back to the boys and talk about re-tooling the show. LOL. As he drove away I shouted remember.. Bose is the way the truth and the life. I do believe I made a convert yesterday. And I just get more tickled about my system daily. Blessed be. LOL
