Well it is pretty good in mono (still better in stereo) and will work for me and at 25 lbs or so is about half my go to GEM pRP7...plus has some nice sounds and drum patterns and records and built in speakers for just goofing around....

Hey, Kramster ... how does the basic piano in the PX 330 compare to the pRP7?
For example: does it have the "sympathetic vibration" (you know, where you silently press a lower octave C, then strike-and-release a C chord in the mid-range ... and you hear that chord "ring")? That's one of the features of the GEM approach to modeling piano sounds which contributes to making them so natural sounding. (And it's not a function of the keyboard, because I drive an RP/X from a Roland Midi keyboard and the RP/X has that 'sympathetic vibration'.)
I know the PX 330 has lots of other neat stuff, but I'm just wondering if I'd find myself still connecting the RP/X up ...
Didn't do a keyboard side by side yet... maybe tomorrow.. The piano on the 330 has just a hint of a phase issue but still good enough to gig with where no one would really notice unless they where really listening for it. Nothing horrible like the Yamaha piano phasing issues.
The demos on the 330 are cool and pianos sound plenty good enough again. There is a mostly bass demo that sounded way better than I would have expected ... all the testing was done in my living room and in my backyard around the pool area. Also have not done any side by side with my classic yet. Have been getting some really nice acoustic guitar sounds. All my testing is with a T1 as I didn't like anything straight in (yet) and I need to have keys and guitars and maybe some vocals with the Voice Live 2.
