A friend wants to play her keyboard through my L1 Model 1 system.
She has heard that she needs some kind of adapter between the keyboard and the PA. - is this true?
If so what do we buy and how/where does it plug in?
I have just bought this used system and know very little about setting it up. I use it for vocals.

Based on information I found here:

I would use a standard INSERT cable (picture below) to connect from the the single Yamaha YPG-235 output (shown above) to the Model I (or Classic) Power Stand Channels 3 and 4





The black connector goes to the keyboard. The red and grey connectors go to the Model I Power Stand Channels 3 and 4. I would set Levels for these Channels at "3" to "4".

That is the cord I use for such things

It's an universal cable any device can attach with it.
