L1 model II with tone match system questionGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
Sorry I am new to this, I have Roland V-piano and TC Voice Live 2, just one person performing, do I need tone match? Anyone using or comments using tone match plus vocal effects together? (any brands for that matter). My gig is mostly 50 to 200 audiences and just clean piano sound vocal from TC. Thanks all.

Hi, I use the Voice Live 2 and a Tonematch. I find the Helicon effects are superior in quality and easier to control for me as a guitar player. I keep my fx disabled on the T1. The VL2 and the T1 work very well together otherwise. As for the VL2 itself - you do have to pay attention to how much of the VL2 features that you are useing at any given time. If you have delay, reverb, harmony and doubling all engaged at once - the sound tends to get very muddy - and that is extremely noticable in an L1 system - probably much more than in a standard pa system.
