I have an instrument called "Qeej" and it's made of bamboo and mahogany wood. If the instrument is not being played everyday, the bamboo will get dry and change the tune or simply not working at all. I need some time of steam case or machine that will keep this instrument moist or not so dry all the time. Is there such a case or machine?

Hello justChuck,

Do you have any kind of case for the Qeej now? If so, maybe you could use a humidifier like people use for guitars. You probably want to find out what the ideal relative humidity should be, and get some kind of hygrometer so you can make sure you are in the right range.

You might consider something like this:

Humicase In-Case Humidity Control Package

(above does not constitute and endorsement - just information).
