. Same settings as always - perhaps more bottom end if you feel that you sound a little thin outdoors. But I haven't found it necessary to do any specific 'tweaks because I'm outdoors' type things. I have used the system outdoors on at least one occasion and I found the sound to carry very well (even the low end). It was for a cocktail hour at a wedding reception and the system was the perfect match for that setting. Here's the view of the audience the single L1® system was covering outdoors. Spoken word only, with plenty of headroom for volume. Notice how the people are spread out all around the event. You are right that outdoors the sound, in general, just keeps going. We've tested the approach outdoors and it reaches an audience of 300 with complete satisfaction. Yup! That is the good stuff, right there. Its amazing how versatile this system truly is. I use the PAS in bars, restaurants and outdoors, all with very different acoustic profiles and challenges.
